Fabric related roles: Assist Women's Design and Development manager in preliminary fabric research and market research, including competitive analysis of the marketplace. Prepare digitally or assemble presentation boards and racks for meetings and internal reviews Support in creating and updating digital records and fabric development lists - making sure they stay updated. Work closely with fabric mills and internal production team to source new qualities and make sure fabric developments are being launched correctly and on time Connect with members of each related design team to provide status updates on each development Be responsible for organizing historical fabric swatches and maintaining the permanent fabric archive Adhere to the development and production calendar and attend all relevant product meetings as required. Color related roles: Assist Creative Director and Women's Design and Development manager in seasonal color palette building Be proficient in color matching to standards and giving lab dip feedback Be responsible for organizing historical color standards and maintaining the permanent color library Manage CSI color system, ordering and replenishing tools as needed and filing used tools back in the right place Help execute colorwork meetings with different design divisions for the new season and assortment Support research into new runway and retail for color, and compile validation reports. Assist with other responsibilities and projects as needed. Travel to Tokyo, Shanghai or Europe may be required.
