Work Control Planner Compa Industries is searching for qualified candidates for a Work Control Planner position at the Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, NM . Salary: $41/hr - $46/hr Location: Los Alamos, NM Citizenship: US citizenship Required Work Schedule: 4/10s Clearance: Ability to acquire a Q clearance Impact This position plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the facility. By developing comprehensive work packages, you will help minimize downtime, optimize resource utilization, and maintain regulatory compliance. Responsibilities and Duties Develop and/or review work packages, including time, material, and labor estimates, written step-by-step work instructions, procedures, and safety/testing requirements Facilitate the implementation and control of operations, maintenance, or modification activities within the facility Plan work related to mechanical, electrical, chemical, and/or radiological equipment, policies, and procedures Resolve work restraints and bring work packages to final closure Minimum Qualifications 2 years of relevant work experience Equivalent combination of education and experience Desired Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in project management and workflow planning Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, chemical, and/or radiological systems Knowledge of relevant policies, regulations, and safety requirements Education and Experience Requirements 2-year technical degree or equivalent work experience Call to Action If you possess the skills and experience to excel in this role, we encourage you to apply today.
