Workday Reporting Analyst

Our client in Chicago is seeking a Workday Reporting Analyst for a direct hire role. The job requires 6 days a month onsite at their offices in downtown Chicago. US Citizens or Green card Holders only please! Key Responsibilities: Report Development: Design and develop custom reports, calculated fields, and dashboards in Workday to meet business needs across various functional areas, including HR, payroll, finance, and more. Data Analysis: Interpret and analyze data from Workday to provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders. Maintain Reporting Tools: Regularly update and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and calculated fields to ensure data accuracy and relevancy. User Support: Provide training and ongoing support to internal users on how to utilize Workday reporting features effectively. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with HR, finance, and IT teams to gather reporting requirements and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality reports. Compliance Reporting: Assist in creating and maintaining reports required for compliance, audits, and regulatory needs. Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of Workday reporting solutions, identifying and resolving any issues that arise. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on new Workday functionalities and reporting capabilities, implementing process improvements and enhancements when applicable. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field. Experience: 2-5 years of experience in Workday report development and data analysis. Proficiency in creating advanced reports using Workday Report Writer, calculated fields, and dashboards. Experience in developing complex reports across multiple modules (e.g., HCM, Payroll, Finance). Workday Pro certified Skills: Strong understanding of Workday data structures, business processes, and security models. Proficiency with Workday tools (e.g., Prism, Advanced Reporting, BIRT, Workday Studio). Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and analysis. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make recommendations. Strong communication skills to collaborate with business users and technical teams. Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
