We are looking for an experienced Workday Integrations Engineer who is innovative at architecting solutions for Reddit's HR Tech stack. You'll have an opportunity to advise, design, and build a variety of integrations in support of our critical initiatives across the business.
This role sits within the Enterprise Applications & Engineering organization. You will partner closely with business partners across various teams including people operations, recruiting, benefits, payroll, finance, and security. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who thrives on making integrations seamless through creative solutions and automations.
Responsibilities:Perform all stages of the development lifecycle to create integrations & automations for our HR tech stack - from requirements gathering, solution design, build, implementation, testing, to production deployment.Collaborate closely with our Workday product managers and cross-functional partners to turn business needs into high quality, scalable, and secure integrations.Develop and maintain Workday Studio integrations, EIB's, and Core Connectors.Evaluate and advise on APIs for potential HR & IT business systems utilization.Design and develop custom applications leveraging Workday Extend.Monitor integration failures and troubleshoot/debug errors.Follow change management controls and document work throughout the project lifecycle.Analyze long-term requirements for HR systems and make recommendations for implementing technology strategies.Quickly learn new technologies, think out-of-the-box to find creative solutions, and communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences.Qualifications:5+ years of experience building Workday integrations & reports within Workday HCM, Benefits, Payroll, in addition to ATS systems and internal IT systems.2+ years experience developing custom applications with Workday Extend.Experience building solutions with iPaaS tools, such as Workato is preferred.Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.Experience with managing integration security permissions with ability to independently research and troubleshoot access issues.Capability of leading development end-to-end, from initial concept to implementation.Understanding of SOX controls and change management processes.Ability to work in a multi-project, fast paced environment.Prior knowledge and experience working in sprints and following agile methodology is preferred.Strong work ethic and accountability to ensure implementations are successful, being flexible in managing multiple tasks in order to meet deadlines.Great communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate well with others.Exceptional independent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, flexibility, and adaptable to changing priorities.BA/BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent work experience.Experience at a public company and/or with SOX processes preferred.Workday Integration Certification preferred.Pay Transparency:This job posting may span more than one career level.
In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive a commission. The base pay range for this position is:
$157,000 - $212,400 USD
