Qualifications:
1) Have a developing and maturing relationship with Jesus.
2) Be aligned with and supportive of the values of WCC.
3) Speak and act both in truth and grace (walk like Jesus – I John 2:6); display the characteristics of a shepherd (I Timothy 3:1-7).
4) Have a passion to lead people in worshipping God.
5) Be a capable musician and able to lead a team of musicians, vocalists, and A/V volunteers.
6) Possess a strong understanding of worship and leadership.
7) Possess organization and communication skills.
8) Enjoy working with people.
9) Enjoy challenging the status quo.
10) Willing to become a member at WCC; agree to our statement of faith.

Main Objectives:
1) To carry out the mission, vision, and strategy of WCC within the Sunday morning worship service.
2) To regularly evaluate and improve the worship ministry for maximum effectiveness.
3) To communicate information, ideas, meetings, order of service, etc. with volunteers in a clear and timely manner.
4) To build/maintain a strong team of worship leaders to enhance the worship culture at WCC.
5) To ensure all worship team members are informed, trained, and well-equipped in their responsibilities.
6) To ensure the audio and video equipment are in good working condition for our purposes and offer recommendations for upgrades as needed.
7) To organize weekly worship services through

WorshipPlanning.com.
8) To oversee and manage the Worship Ministry budget; write an annual report to the congregation; participate in monthly Leadership Team meetings; participate in periodic evaluations with the pastor.
9) To seek to develop as a worship leader by reading books/articles, attending conferences, taking classes, etc.
10) To meet with the senior pastor regularly for the purpose of accountability, mentoring, and support.
11) To organize special worship nights (4-6 times/year)
12) To oversee, lead, and organize the Youth Ministry's Worship ministry.
