Description

SUMMARY: Wranglers man the barn and the ranch horse program.
They perform basic equine care under the supervision of the Head Wrangler and Horse Foreman.
Successful wranglers are outgoing and industrious.
They are patient teachers and confident leaders who enjoy sharing their knowledge with the guests.
Individuals must be receptive to guidance and adhere to established policy and methods.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•Move the herd from pasture to barn and back.


•Groom horses.

•Saddle and bridle horses.


•Conduct supervised trail rides for Ranch guests.


•Maintain tack room.


•Perform general maintenance around barns and corrals.


•Be cordial to all guests, members and colleagues.


•Be professional and courteous at all times.


•Help with trail and fence maintenance.

•Work with safety in mind at all times.


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Must have a current First Aid and CPR Certification.


Must have a minimum 8 yrs of hands-on horsemanship

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to lift 50 lbs Must be able to endure extreme weather: heat, cold, rain.

$14.42 to $17.00 an hour
