About Us: Since our inception in 2010, Pulse Urgent Care Center has been at the forefront of providing accessible and high-quality urgent care services to the community. Founded by local physicians, our center has established itself as the go-to facility for walk-in and urgent healthcare in Shasta County. We proudly serve as the preferred provider for employee and occupational health services for major employers in the area. In June 2016, we expanded to a larger, fully renovated facility in Redding, CA, and recently extended our services to the Red Bluff community with a new facility opened on September 5th, 2023. The Opportunity: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate X-Ray Technician to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality imaging services under the supervision of our medical team. Your expertise will ensure accurate diagnoses and contribute to the overall well-being of our patients. Key Responsibilities: Patient Interaction: Explain procedures to patients and ensure they understand the process. Assist with positioning and provide reassurance throughout the imaging process. Imaging Quality: Perform high-quality imaging of anatomical regions including the abdomen, chest, head, and upper and lower extremities. Safety and Protocols: Adhere to x-ray safety protocols and maintain high standards of imaging quality. Technical Skills: Ensure optimal test and imaging quality for accurate diagnosis by physicians. Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance tasks on x-ray equipment and handle related paperwork and patient tracking tasks. Qualifications: Education: Associate degree preferred. Experience: At least 1 year of experience with EMR systems preferred. Certifications: LMRT and RT certifications required. Skills: Proficiency in radiographic terminology, anatomy, and pathology.
