The Siemens Industry, Inc. distribution center in Roebuck, SC is seeking an XN Assembly Coordinator, to be an integral member of a diverse and dynamic team. As an XN Assembly Coordinator,you will work independently to kit jobs for the Assembly line. Responsibilities
As an XN Assembly Coordinator, your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the following:
Reviewing the Tracker for set duct by date and move carts with set duct to both Line A and Line B prior to start of the shift
Updating Tracker throughout the day which job is running on the lines for transparency.
Working in conjunction with the Setup Coordinator to ensure the correct dates are being ran daily.
Submitting the appropriate remakes and disposing scrap material for non-conforming material.
Assisting the Group Lead with the daily Line Setup and 5s duties.
Reviewing the Tracker throughout the day and working in conjunction with the Shipping Department to ensure confirmations are complete.
Identifying and communicating what is needed to finish incomplete skids of ducts to close out line items.
Communicating with the Stack Department for stacks needed daily
Communicating with Group Lead bottlenecks that hinder the output of production (ex: moving associates to cover in absences of employees, missing material, or non-conforming materials)
Cross training in the Bar Kitting Area, Setup Coordinator, and any other areas to support the business, as well as cross training peers
You will have impact if you have the following minimum qualifications:
High School Diploma required, state recognized GED or state recognized high school proficiency exam
Must be able to utilize Microsoft Office Tools and SAP
Must be able to work required overtime when needed
Basic Computer Skills, and the use of basic mechanical/measuring tools
Reach, grasp, lift 50 lbs, and push/pull/slide heavy material and make coordinated movements of the hands and arms to grasp and move objects.
Hours
The standard hours for the XN Assembly Coordinator are: 6:30am-3pm,however is subject to the completion of the daily goal of assembly.
