This is a union position and will be part of Local 701. Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
Responsibilities: Shop Cleaning: Responsible for cleaning of the shop area inside and out.Yard: Responsible for repair area of yard, keeping it organized & orderly and in the proper area.Cleaning Equipment: Washing of shop jobs as needed.Building Maintenance: Responsible for taking care of complete building maintenance as directed by the service manager or branch manager.Service Vehicles: Responsible for keeping all service vehicles clean. Brings any and all necessary repairs or maintenance items to the attention of the service managers and/or branch manager.Truck: Must be able to drive pick-up truck with trailer, and is responsible for the load that is being carried.Appearance: Maintain an image and appearance of professionalism at all times.Safety: Work in a safe manner at all times.As authorized, participates in trade association activities and service schools as necessary to the accomplishment of functions.Requirements: Must be able to lift 90lbs, 75% of the time, to load and unload repair equipment.Must have knowledge of construction/turf equipment and its operation.Must hold valid driver's license and be able to drive a pick-up truck and trailer.Distributor Relationships: Cooperates with employees of other departments.Accountable to the Service Manager/Product Support Manager/Branch Manager for proper interpretation and fulfillment of overall responsibilities.About Alta: Culture is Job #1.
