Education & Experience: Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. High School Graduate preferred. Prior hospitality experience preferred. Ability to obtain any government licenses or certificates as required for the local area. Physical Requirements: Must be able to be on your feet for long periods of time. Must be able to navigate uneven stairs and uneven surfaces. Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects through crowded spaces. Must be able to meet the appropriate grooming standards. Ability to move or push goods on a hand cart/truck weighing a maximum of 200 pounds preferred. General Requirements: Must possess exemplary verbal and written communication abilities. Must be able to work effectively with a diverse population of both employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner. Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests. Must be able to multitask and prioritize functions to provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner. Must be able to learn and implement the Forbes standards. Successful applicants will possess a magnetism emanating maturity and confidence. Table Preparation: Set up and clean tables according to the restaurant's standards, ensuring each setting is immaculate and ready for guests. Guest Assistance: Assist servers with delivering food and beverages to tables, refilling drinks, and addressing guest requests efficiently. Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate service. Maintenance: Help with the upkeep of the dining area, including clearing and resetting tables, and maintaining cleanliness and organization. Support Duties: Assist with running food, handling special requests, and addressing any issues that arise during service to enhance guest satisfaction.
