Description: The Youth Apprenticeship Advisory Committee reviews and identifies ways to implement high school youth apprenticeship programs in the District of Columbia; and the means through which employers and organizations can obtain grants, tax credits, or other subsidies to support the establishment and operation of high school youth apprenticeship programs.
Commission Membership: The Commission shall consist of 10 public members appointed by the Mayor, with the advice and consent of the Council. 
Qualifications for membership: Public members shall be appointed who have shown dedication to, and knowledge of improving current youth apprenticeship programs, or have experience in programming through local businesses, non-profits or labor organizations.
