Youth Basketball Lead - Seasonal

Do you enjoy working with youth and have a need to give back to the community? The Stateline YMCA is currently hiring seasonal, part-time Youth Basketball Site Leads. Candidates can expect: Games are Fridays 5:30pm-7:30pm, and Saturdays from 9am-1pmPaid trainingFree membership Most importantly, fulfilling work! KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure site is set-up prior to beginning of games and programming. Cleaning-up when games/programming are complete.Coordinate referees and umpires to ensure coverage at each game. Assist as needed.Responsible for maintaining timely and transition of games and programs.Ensure spectators are conducting themselves in a safe and respectable manner.Uphold all standards, rules, and regulations that generally apply to the sport, as well s those specific to the Stateline Family YMCA league.Maintain positive relationships with children, parents, volunteers, and other staff.Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience High school graduate or equivalent requiredMinimum 1-year related experience preferred Skills Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
