Description

In your job as a Youth Development Professional at our Brooksville Elementary Unit, you'll: Lead a group of up to 25 children, in Kindergarten through 5th grade, in before-and-after school programming Deal effectively with members concerning behavior and discipline issues Communicate effectively with children using appropriate language, tone of voice, and body language Participate in activities alongside members; Encourage and facilitate members' participation in all activities Ensure a fun, safe and healthy environment, both physically and mentally Establish positive relationships with children and act as a mentor and role model at all times Take attendance, complete incident/accident reports and guidance notices for behavior Assist in the care and maintenance of equipment and supplies and cleanliness of indoor/outdoor areas used HAVE FUN!
