Mass of the Ages (latinmass.com) is looking for a youtube and social media video editor who is passionate about creative decision making, on the cutting edge of trends, and has a passion for increasing Latin Masses.The ideal candidate will have experience creating short form and social media content including dynamic motion graphics targeted for maximum reach and engagement, be willing to submit a test video and thumbnail, and is ready for a long-term career.Must have:2 years experienceProficient in nonlinear editing and motions graphics software, including audio mixing and color grading, YouTube creator suiteSocial media specs expert and trendsetterVersatile style including expertise in typography, design and illustrationShow examples of successful YouTube Short or Instagram Reel creations.Be a high output individual, able to take initiativeWow us with your portfolio including YouTube videos/shorts and Instagram reelsDutiesDevelop a social media calendar for regular video releases with the Communications DirectorGo through Mass of the Ages catalog of film footage, b-roll, interviews and podcasts and create shorts, reels, and compelling thumbnailsBe a self starter, take ownership and see creative through without requiring close supervisionMust also be able to adapt the Writer and Director's vision in fresh & unique waysResearch footage, tag and label raw interview footage, and build sequences of selects from B-RollSustain the organization of projects and footage as new footage arrivesPlease email your resume and cover letter including links to your content/portfolio.
