As an Additive Manufacturing Engineer I, you will play a crucial role in the development of the systems that will be required for the design and build of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations.

Responsibilities: Apply your prior knowledge to real world applications in the space industry.Work collaboratively with a talented team of experienced and diverse engineers.Develop all aspects of laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) additive manufacturing.Innovate new additive applications, platforms, and materials to expand printing capabilities.Work cross functionally with design, analysis, testing, materials, and responsible engineers. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in materials science, welding, mechanical, aerospace, or related engineering discipline.6+ months of hands-on engineering experience (including internships, laboratory, engineering student teams, hobbies).Ability to work full-time onsite in Hawthorne, CA. Preferred Skills and Experience: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Excellent communication skills and a team player attitude.Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic startup environment.Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) for 3D modeling and simulation. Additional Requirements: Ability to work evenings and/or weekends as needed. Pay Rate: $90k-$105k

Salary Range: California

$90,000-$105,000 USD

Base salary will vary depending on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, business needs, and market demand.

The person hired will have access to information and items subject to U.S. export controls, and therefore, must either be a "U.S. person" as defined by 22 C.F.R.
