The purpose of this internship is to prepare college students for entry into the business world by providing a thorough understanding of the various functions of the Zebra Technologies organization. The program is designed to provide you with a full experience so that you can fully envision a career with Zebra. You will be positioned for success with training, exposure to all parts of the business, social activities, a professional mentor relationship and development sessions to help you discover your own performance edge!

This team combines multiple aspects of electrical engineering along with RF (Radio Frequency) systems all the way to the antenna. Both analog and digital domains of engineering are explored and used to design enterprise products.

Responsibilities:
Support in design implementation of next RF platform
Focus on support of testing NFC (Near Field Communication) in protocol and RF areas
Assist in analysis of RF/ EE parameters for the platform
Develop planning, organizational and leadership skills
Increase technology knowledge and skills
Develop team-based work proficiencies
Develop interpersonal skills to connect with day-to-day business contacts through follow up activities

THIS IS A HYBRID INTERNSHIP LOCATED IN HOLTSVILLE, NY. THE EXPECTATION IS AT LEAST 3 DAYS OF IN-OFFICE ATTENDANCE.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
Must have an anticipated graduation date between December 2025 to 2028
Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:
Basic Lab skills for Electrical Engineering
Focus in Telecommunications/RF/Antenna design
Mixed signals and general knowledge of RF
PCB (Printed Circuit Board) design knowledge preferred but not required
Knowledge of hardware design
Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, & PowerPoint)
Intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to learn and grow
Proven leadership and excellence in professional, academic, and/or extracurricular experiences
Ability to collaborate as part of a team
Effective verbal and written communication skills

Salary:USD 27.00 - USD 31.00 Yearly
Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
