DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cleaning walls, floors, equipment, or any other areas of the facility.
Disposing of waste, sanitation of facilities and equipment, maintenance of lighting, and other related facilities and ground duties.
Removing all trash cans, inedible barrels, totes.
Must be able to use a high pressure tank to clean and sanitize equipment.
Required to work with chemicals to sanitize equipment.
Know how to read a material safety data sheet.
Must understand lock out/tag out.
Use and understand the purpose of protective equipment.
Be able to work at a fast pace due to the time frame that is allocated for sanitation.
Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiply, divide, etc.
)
Must be able to work as part of a team
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or GED preferred
Required to read and perform basic math
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
GMP'S
General safety
Controlling food allergens in the plant
Momar chemical safety
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to safely and continually lift and lower, push/pull - totes, pipes; trash cans that range up to 100 pounds
Ability to visually read labels and chemical information
Ability to pull, stretch, climb, and bend for duration of shift
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE)
Safety equipment to be used as instructed
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work performed in a plant environment
Exposed to any number of elements (heat, steam and cold)

Pay Details: $13.33 per hour
