The Facilities Team Leader works closely with the Facilities Manager(s) for the preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of all assets used in the operation of the warehouse. They should have knowledge of our equipment, warehouse procedures, policies, and our cultural expectations. The Facilities Team Leader should also be able to identify and correct issues with our equipment and maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures. They hold themselves to the highest company standards and should be in good attendance and safety standing.

Leadership Assist leadership in overseeing daily operations in the department to ensure a high level of productivity and quality while achieving operating goals; promote team adherence to company policies and procedures.Work closely with leadership to monitor and provide consistent feedback to employees on individual and team performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.In collaboration with leadership, conduct daily team meetings to update employees on work expectations, task assignments, best practices and operating expectations.Clearly communicate team goals, resolve problems as they arise, and answer any related questions.Assist with developing a cross-trained team for development within the department.Maintain a high level of communication with departments and management daily; partner with other team leads to flex hours where necessary.Serve as a resource for all employees regarding job tasks, company policies and procedures and warehouse initiatives.Report personnel issues to the department leadership to enable timely resolutions.Process Assist in performing preventative maintenance on and corrective maintenance on the company's equipment and facilities as necessary.Manage labor hours and work orders using our CMMS program.Ensure high quality work through the auditing and inspection of PM's conducted by the team, providing feedback and/or training as necessary.Ensure the team is consistently following health and safety guidelines, and report hazards or maintenance needs to leadership immediately.Work closely with team members and leadership to meet daily, weekly, and monthly departmental goals.Abide by all company and warehouse policies.Flex into other positions and undertake additional duties as necessary to support the department.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a distribution environment; minimum of 2 years of relevant maintenance experience and forklift certification preferred.High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES Previous experience in the Electrical, Mechanical or HVAC fields preferred.Electrical troubleshooting skills are beneficial.Experience with automated conveyor systems is a plus.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work at elevations of up to 50'.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Ability to quickly adapt as business needs change; ability to address difficult situations with diplomacy and emotional intelligence.Customer service-oriented attitude with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations.PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. SHIFT SCHEDULE Friday-Sunday 6am to 6:30pm
