The Division of Hematology/Oncology in the Department of Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center is expanding due to programmatic success and seeks a full-time hematology faculty with an interest in benign hematology.
This position will be on the non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator track at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.
Applicants with experience in disorders of hemostasis/thrombosis, hemoglobinopathies, developmental therapeutics, and/or innovative clinical trial design are particularly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities: Providing care to patients with hematologic conditions in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.Participating in teaching, research, and clinical trials.Our facilities include a modern 900-bed teaching hospital, outpatient clinic, extensive basic research facilities, and a large cancer center supported clinical research office.
In addition, there will be opportunities for collaboration and participation within the Division's Developmental Therapeutics Program.
Minimum Qualifications: MD degree.Board certification in Hematology or Hematology/Oncology.Licensure.The start date is negotiable, and the position will remain open until filled.
