Weber Shandwick Chicago has an exciting opportunity for an Account Director to join our Corporate/Enterprise team. We are looking for an engaging, curious and collaborative person with outstanding client service and interaction skills, as well as proven analysis, writing, strategic planning, media relations and digital/social media acumen to help drive the growth and success of a variety of accounts.
Responsibilities: Developing public relations action plans; program goals; and earned /social media campaigns, targets and pitch angles that require input from senior team leadershipPlay day to day account lead for B2B, financial sector and professional services accountsManaging teams and collaborating/responding to clientsResearching and writing briefing materials for client executivesWriting and editing press materials, key message documents, briefing materials, blog posts and pitch lettersStaying abreast of current industry news and trends, and sharing that information with account team membersDeveloping and managing timelines and weekly action plans to ensure all deadlines on client programs are metBreaking down and managing detailed tasks with the account team associated with planning and implementing special public relations events such as press conferences and media tripsAnticipating and proactively offering solutions to senior team leadership for executional issues specific to assigned programsInteracting with senior management and providing input into tactics and strategiesCultivate and enhance collaborative working relationships with media through regular communicationsPersuasively pitching media and securing high-profile coverage for clientsUnderstanding client objectives and priorities to help shape story anglesBasic Qualifications: 6+ years of communications experience, preferably in an agency environmentUnderstanding of and experience working with professional and financial services companies, financial markets and productsExcellent communication/presentation skills; verbal and writtenStrong attention to detail and project management skillsSocial media literacy with the ability to identify and recommend social program elementsAbility to multi-task effectively and work within tight deadlinesAbility to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and client expectationsConfident and comfortable presenting in front of groupsMedia relations experience for financial and professional services accounts is a plusThe Weber Shandwick Collective recognizes that your health and wellbeing are a priority. Weber Shandwick is looking for a Senior Manager, Client Experience, to join our Tech and Corporate practices on the West Coast. The ideal candidate has experience with and a passion for B2B comms, including B2B technology, with strong project and campaign management skills including experience managing workstreams and clients spanning offices and time zones. In addition, the candidate will bring earned media expertise to lead and support workstreams that lean heavily on proactive, creative storytelling.

We are seeking a Senior Associate, Client Experience who is passionate about healthcare and making a difference in the lives of patients living with various diseases and conditions. As a Senior Associate, you will work closely with senior and junior staff members across several teams to provide counsel and manage day-to-day work, in addition to serving as a key client contact.
As a successful Senior Associate, you will be a strong leader with excellent writing and communications skills and an ability to translate client needs into project plans. You will also help develop and implement engagement campaigns for a variety of healthcare clients, including pharmaceutical companies. Ideally, you should have agency/consulting or related experience with a background in healthcare communications, specifically pharmaceutical experience.
