**Job Description**:

Auto-Owners Insurance is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Account Support Associate to join our Houston team. In this part-time role, you will play an integral part in providing exceptional support to our clients and agents, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. This position is ideal for a reliable and resourceful individual who is passionate about delivering the highest standard of service in the insurance industry.

**Key Responsibilities**:

1. **Client Interaction**: Serve as the first point of contact for client inquiries, providing timely and accurate information related to their insurance policies, coverage options, and claims processes.

2. **Policy Management**: Assist in managing client accounts by updating and maintaining records, processing policy changes, and monitoring renewals to ensure continuous coverage.

3. **Problem-Solving**: Address and troubleshoot client concerns, effectively managing complaints and ensuring satisfactory resolution by collaborating with relevant departments.

4. **Administrative Support**: Provide administrative assistance to the account management team, including data entry, filing, and preparing documentation required for client meetings and communications.

5. **Internal Collaboration**: Work closely with underwriting, claims, and sales teams to facilitate seamless communication and enhance the client experience.

6. **Research and Planning**: Gather and analyze information to support account strategies and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional insurance products.

7. **Training and Development**: Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and company policies that impact client service.

8. **Performance Measurement**: Help track and analyze performance metrics related to client satisfaction and account growth to contribute to team objectives and organizational goals.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**: Minimum of 3 years in a customer service role, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.

- **Education**: High school diploma required; an associate or bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.

- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
