Responsibilities
As an Accountant at Healthwaze, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization. Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights to support strategic decision-making. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner. Tax Compliance: Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. Audit Support: Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations as required. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the accounting function. To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
Education: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are a plus.
