A community hospital in southern Arizona is seeking an experienced healthcare finance professional to join their team as an Accounting and Revenue Cycle Manager. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage expertise in both revenue cycle management and accounting within a dynamic healthcare setting. The Accounting and Revenue Cycle Manager will report to both the Revenue Cycle Director and Controller, playing a crucial role in optimizing financial operations and ensuring the hospital's continued financial health.
The Accounting and Revenue Cycle Manager will oversee and streamline revenue cycle processes, including billing, collections, and denials management, while also managing accounting functions such as financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis. Collaboration with clinical and administrative departments to improve financial performance is a key aspect of this position. The successful Accounting and Revenue Cycle Manager candidate will develop and implement strategies to enhance revenue capture, reduce revenue leakage, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and accounting standards, and lead a team of finance professionals.
The ideal Accounting and Revenue Cycle Manager will possess in-depth knowledge of healthcare reimbursement models and regulatory requirements, proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting, strong leadership and communication skills, and experience with healthcare financial systems and EHR platforms.
