Accounting Manager (Manufacturing Exp. Req.) Responsibilities • Oversee accurate and timely financial statement preparation in line with GAAP
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes
• Lead the development of budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans
• Oversee AR, AP, order processing, and material management operations related to accounting
• Mentor and manage 6 team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement
• Provide variance analysis and collaborate with departments to align financial goals
• Develop and maintain internal control systems to safeguard assets
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide strategic recommendations
• Oversee cash flow management, banking relationships, and debt facilities
• Coordinate internal and external audits
• Streamline financial processes and workflows to improve productivity and reduce costs
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal financial policies
Accounting Manager (Manufacturing Exp. Req.) Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including team management, is required
• Manufacturing or CPG experience is required
• Strong knowledge of closing processes, GAAP, reporting, & internal controls is required
• ERP experience is required
• Ability to work 100% on-site is required
