Responsibilities
• Reconciles vendor statements to accounting system• Researches and resolves discrepancies• Verifies open balances match vendor statement• Contacts vendors to request statements• Uploads vendor statements into accounting system• Understands sales tax rules and requests tax exempt certificates• Works with vendor contacts to resolve billing errors• Processes check runs and records/delivers lien waivers• Requests and logs vendor payment method changes• Responds to payment questions and meets reporting goals
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent• Two to four years' previous accounting or related experience• Strong communication skills• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines• Detail-oriented and adaptable to change• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite• Expert 10-key skills• Strong analytical skills
