Summary of Key Responsibilities: The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for performing accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions. This position involves verifying invoices, processing payments, reconciling vendor statements and maintaining accurate records of accounts payable activity.
Duties and Responsibilities: Process large volume of invoices accurately and within compliance of company policiesCode invoices with correct GL account to ensure proper entry into the financial systemEngage in Vendor Management through gathering required documents and ensuring accurate vendor setup in the payment systemCreate and process check requests for items such as physician payments, patient travel reimbursement, etc.Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepanciesResearch and answer vendor inquiries timely and professionallyAssist with monthly sponsor invoicing processProvide excellent customer service to both internal and external customersComplete other projects or duties as assignedMandatory: Practice and adhere to the "Code of Conduct" philosophy and "Mission and Value Statement".During your employment with Sarah Cannon you will be routinely assigned training requirements. You are expected to complete any training assignments by the due date.Minimum Qualifications: Associate's Degree; Additional appropriate education may be substituted for healthcare accounting experience1+ years of progressive accounts payable experience; preferably in a clinical trial research or healthcare-related environmentIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft ExcelBasic working knowledge of Adobe AcrobatStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAttention to detail and accuracyGood organizational skillsAble to multitask and adhere to deadlinesAbility to interpret basic study contract language as it relates to required paymentsCompensation for this role is between $19 to $22/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
