Job Description:
UnitedHealth Group is seeking a passionate and resourceful Accounts Payable Associate to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. As an Accounts Payable Associate, you will be responsible for assisting with the accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and expenses. This is a part-time position at the Associate Level, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:- Review and verify invoices and expense reports for accuracy and completeness- Process payments to vendors and suppliers in a timely manner- Resolve any discrepancies or issues with vendors or internal stakeholders- Assist with month-end closing processes related to accounts payable- Maintain accurate and organized financial records- Participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives as needed
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or related financial role- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
