JST is currently seeking a Acquisition Specialist - APSO (Acquisition function) to join our team.
This is a full-time Onsite position with potential hybrid/remote work at Defense Health Agency (DHA) headquarters, Virginia.

The Acquisition Specialist - ASPO (Acquisition function) shall be professional in demeanor, appearance, and deportment.
Employees shall be responsive.
The Administrative Assistant may be required to interface with senior Government and industry officials.
Personnel shall have excellent written and oral communications skills sufficient to provide clear concise communication and documentation.
Proficient in the use of the Microsoft suite of applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project as well as with Adobe Acrobat.
Acquisition Specialist Responsibilities Utilize DoD supplies and services procurement.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned.
Utilize contracting principles, laws regulation and procedures and the federal acquisition process.
Responsible for methods and techniques of fact-finding, analysis, and resolution of complex problems, and the ability to develop concrete action plans to solve problems.
Utilize price and cost analysis principles.
Responsible for summarizing events and technical discussions, preparing recommendations and alternatives, document strategies and outcomes.
Communicate contractual issues and provide guidance to non-contracting customers regarding provisions, practices, procedures, and problem resolution.
Utilize Microsoft Office programs and data management systems Acquisition Specialist Qualifications A bachelor's degree or 4 years of required experience Experience in one of the following disciplines is required: project/program management; logistics; acquisition; requirements generation; life cycle management; acquisition support; purchasing.
Experience in contracting principles, laws regulation and procedures and the federal acquisition process.
Experience in methods and techniques of fact-finding, analysis, and resolution of complex problems, and the ability to develop concrete action plans to solve problems.
Experience price and cost analysis principles.
Excellent written communication skills to summarize events and technical discussions, prepare recommendations and alternatives, document strategies and outcomes.
Skilled in preparing and submitting documents in a DOD Format Experience in Microsoft Office programs and data management systems Required Clearances and Screenings MUST be able to pass a US Government Security Clearance About Joint Strategic Technologies (JST)
