Adjunct Faculty, Veterinary Technology

Job Description: Teaches one or more courses in the Veterinary Technology Program. May include, but not limited to, animal handling and clinical techniques for a wide range of species.
Prepares and delivers learning activities in order to achieve course outcomesPrepares course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handoutsEvaluates and grades students' class work, laboratory work, assignments, papers, and examinationsMaintains and submits student attendance records, grades, and other required documentation by specified deadlinesBe available to students for coachingPeriodic meetings with supervisors, division, or College, relative to teaching duties and training and developmentRequired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Veterinary Technology/Medicine from AVMA accredited and OVMLB approved Program or significant related experience may substitute for educationMinimum of 5 years recent demonstrated experience with specific species and techniques taught in assigned courseworkCredentialed or eligible for credentialing in Ohio as appropriateDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (or equivalent)Advanced communication (verbal, written, and interpersonal) and organizational skillsSensitivity to respond appropriately to the needs of a diverse populationPreferred Qualifications: Teaching experience
