Report to Assistant Director of Institutional Advancement Department Institutional Relations FLSA Status Hourly, Non-Exempt
JOB PURPOSE
To provide administrative support to the staff and mission of the Institutional Relations Division.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Advancement Office Administration:
* Update and maintain the development databases.
* Special administrative projects.
* Update and improve the organization and efficiency of processes.
* Advancement Communication:
* Assist in monthly development communications initiatives.
* Mail swag to donors and friends.
* Assist with printing, folding, and stamping development mailing letters and envelopes.
* Institutional Relations Events:
* Aid in the development and execution of regional events.
* Contact and invite churches, pastors, and influencers to regional events.
* Coordinate event logistics (location, setup, A/V, food, etc.
).
* Assist with the food and drink setup for the Leadership Project.
* Aid the Assistant Director of Advancement with misc.
tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
MUST BE CURRENT STUDENT OF MBTS OR SPURGEON COLLEGE, AND
MUST QUALIFY FOR THE FEDERAL WORK STUDY PROGRAM VIA FAFSA.
To include, however not limited to:
* Christian with high integrity, currently pursuing a relationship with God.

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Able to pass a background screening, including driving record.
* Eligible to work in the United States.
WORKING CONDITIONS
* Varying shifts during regular office hours, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
* No more than twenty hours per week.
* Shared office environment.
PHYSICIAL REQUIREMENTS
Frequently required to sit or stand for periods of time at a desk or computer station.
* Occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
* Able lift and/or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds.
