*Note: This is a subsidized employment position available through Workforce Solutions Capital Area. All candidates will be considered after program eligibility is confirmed.* DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES: • Handle highly confidential information, both written and verbal communications. Respond to special requests and projects, frequently under deadline conditions.
• Screen and answer telephone calls, handling multiple lines.
• Establish, organize and maintain department files/records and other department documents.
• Schedule and confirm appointments for supervisor.
•Type correspondence and other documents from notes, copies, and rough drafts.
• May be required to create graphics, using a computer.
• May be required to take minutes at meetings and/or transcribe dictation.
•Send orientation letters to students.
• Setup orientation with the Education team: assist in making new student folders, gathering scrubs, helping set up equipment
• New student outreach to setup and confirm appointments across departments
• Update student tracking reports as directed
• Administrative tasks including filing, scanning, and making copies

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: • High school diploma or GED
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Must have good reading and writing comprehension skills
• Experience working in an office setting
• Must have entry level computer skills
