**Position:** **Administrative Assistant**
**Location: Cambridge MA**
**Duration :3+ months**
**Pay Rate: $32/hr on W2**
**We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join one of our Fortune 500 clients.
**
**Job Summary:** The Administrative Assistant supports faculty with various administrative tasks, including document preparation, scheduling, course management, and travel arrangements.
The role requires proficiency in MS Office, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while handling a large volume of varied tasks.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Set up and manage department systems and processes.
+ Prepare and proofread documents, articles, and presentations.
+ Support faculty during teaching, including preparing handouts and coordinating class visitors.
+ Manage complex calendars, arrange meetings, and coordinate travel itineraries.
+ Process expense reimbursements, maintain course websites, and assist with exam proctoring.
+ Perform online research and manage electronic/paper files for faculty.
+ Coordinate audiovisual support, events, and faculty-student communication.
+ Assist in preparing grants, publications, and course materials.
+ Handle departmental projects as assigned.
**Qualifications:**
+ Intermediate or higher proficiency in MS Office.
+ Strong editing, proofreading, and organizational skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
+ Experience with travel and scheduling systems is a plus.
