Administrative Assistant

Recognized and established law firm in the Crown Center area is seeking an on-site administrative assistant to offer support as a member of our professional team.
Minimum administrative experience of two years required.
Legal experience preferred but not required.
Duties include attorney support, including coordination of attorney Outlook and docketing calendars, travel arrangements, expense reports and general office responsibilities.
This position requires proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent grammar and clerical skills.
Professional demeanor required.

- Ability and desire to learn new skills and processes
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Excellent knowledge of verbal/written business grammar, spelling, and punctuation
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task and successfully track and manage multiple projects at once
- Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor under stressful conditions
- Knowledge of courts and electronic filings
Job Responsibilities: - Manage active calendars including appointments, meetings, conferences and deadlines
- Be comfortable scheduling meetings and responding to emails
- Handle confidential information and documents
- Preform clerical and administrative tasks including drafting letters and memos
- Enter attorneys time into Tabs and edit prebills
- Complete a variety of business and personal tasks for the attorneys
- Backup receptionist duties
- Arrange travel plans and create itineraries
- Create, scan, file and save and file documents in SharePoint
