Admissions Assistant

The Arms Acres facility is seeking a full time Admissions Assistant.
The Admissions Assistant coordinates and performs all tasks required to prepare a patient for admission.
Additional clerical assistance to the Intake Coordinators is required as needed. Tues-Sat, 11am to 7:30p

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Greets all incoming patients, families, and referents.
Notes patients arrival on Board and paperwork.
Coordinates and completed the admission process.
Verifies all demographic information with patient.
Enters information into Meditech, including Bed Assignment.
Collects deposits and issues receipts for payment, explains self pay arrangements.
Ensures consents and releases are completed and signed according to regulations as outlined in facility policy.
Maintains office supplies.
Files Business Office Chart in Admissions Office File Cabinet.
Participates In Performance Improvement Initiatives.


Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with one to three months' related experience and/or training.
Bachelor's and CASAC preferred.

$17.00 to $18 depending on education/experience
