Advanced Supplier Quality Engineer

Webasto is looking for an ASQE to support our rapidly growing charging division.

Responsibility Coordination with R&D for design & ESI Controlling of the APQP-Process for supplier parts from product design until transfer to Webasto plant Evaluation of Feasibility Studies of Suppliers Documentation and tracking of APQP status and progress Preparation, Validation and Approval of PPAP/PPF Perform and release of Production Processes Verification of Production Capacity (R@R) Root cause analysis in case of technical deviations as well as definition and follow-up of necessary corrective actions; Escalation to Sr. ASQE Securing of compliance to the Webasto PEP process
and use of the SIPOCs Preparation and update of the APQP status for Lead ASQE
and escalation of deviations to the project plan Responsible for vendor parts until GW 5 Skills Degree in engineering or professional training + additional subject-specific training (technician) + additional qualification (training in Quality Management) Background knowledge about electronic components such as PCBAs, ASICs & Relays First professional experience Good knowledge of Production Techniques and -Processes Good knowledge of Automotive-Q-methods (APQP, FMEA, MSA, PPAP, SPC, ...) Ability to understand technological correlations Good knowledge of Norms and Customer Requirements, Component and Tolerance Requirements Ability to work in a team High self-reliance Assertiveness Good command of English MS-Office and ERP - Quality Management Experience in dealing with suppliers of various sizes at national and international level Ability to communicate with self-confidence on all levels (Business Partner - Management) Defines component APQP and PPAP Level in coordination with the team Defines the status of the PPAP/PPF (Release or reject) Defines PPAP status for the Gateway Checklist Releases Production Processes Verifies Production Capacities (R@R) KPI's PPAP on time & first time right APQP Milestones met on time Gateway 4B passed on time Launch ppm according to target (SOP + 3 month
