Analyst Investor Relations Location Hybrid remote in Long Island City, NY : Analyst, Investor Relations Position Summary The Analyst, Investor Relations works under the guidance of the Director, Investor Relations and supports relationships between the company and the public on financial matters. The Analyst will support the finance team and senior management by developing resources for quarterly earnings presentations and other key events, attending conferences, and ensuring JetBlue's investor relations website is accurate and effective.
Essential Responsibilities Assist Director, Investor Relations with development of materials for the financial community including press releases, earnings call scripts, road show presentations, and other related materials Provide current relevant business, competitor, and financial community insight to management on a regular basis Assist in preparation of senior management for presentations and other events Coordinate logistics of investor communication events including earnings calls, investment conferences and one-on-one meetings Support management of JetBlue's Investor Relations website Collaborate with management across all business divisions to gain ongoing business knowledge Work alongside and communicate effectively with different groups and organizational levels across JetBlue Prepare ad hoc analyses as assigned Other duties as assigned Minimum Experience and Qualifications Bachelor's Degree; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and at least two (2) years of previous relevant work experience One (1) year of finance and/or analytical experience Working knowledge of capital markets structure, financial instruments and valuation techniques Strong experience/in-depth knowledge with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint Available for international and overnight travel (10%) Must be in possession of valid travel documents with the ability to travel in and out of the United States Highly articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent analytical skills Ability to interface effectively at all levels of the organization and influence internal and external audiences Exceptional attention to detail Must pass a pre-employment drug test Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship Preferred Experience and Qualifications Demonstrated interest in airline industry Master of Business Administration degree, Master's in Finance or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Preference for prior investor relations and/or airline industry experience and exposure Strong financial and business background with the ability to analyze, understand and articulate all aspects of the company's business plan Crewmember Expectations: Regular attendance and punctuality Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice Able to maintain a professional appearance When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion, and Fun Must fulfill safety accountabilities as prescribed by JetBlue's Safety Management System Promote JetBlue's #1 value of safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting JetBlue's Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy and behavioral standards Identify safety and/or security concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue's confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report (SAR)) Responsible for adhering to all applicable laws, regulations (FAA, OSHA, DOT, etc.) and Company policies, procedures and risk controls Uphold JetBlue's safety performance metric goals and understand how they relate to their duties and responsibilities Equipment: Computer and other office equipment Work Environment: Traditional office environment Physical Effort: Generally not required, or up to 10 pounds occasionally, 0 pounds frequently. (Sedentary) Compensation: The base pay range for this position is between $58,500.00 and $89,600.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue's total compensation package, which includes healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
