Park Nicollet is looking to hire an Anesthesia Supervisor to join our team!

Position Summary:

Come join our incredible Anesthesia team at our Burnsville surgery center location.
We provide care for patients ages 10 months to 99+ across 3 Same Day Surgery Centers, 12 operating rooms and we are growing!
Our patients must meet strict criteria for the Ambulatory setting.
We perform anesthesia for many surgical specialties including orthopedic, vascular, plastics, ENT, general, GYN, eye, urology, one level spine, and laparoscopic cases.

Under the direction of the Manager of Anesthesia Services, the supervisor will facilitate the successful functioning of the anesthesia department through communication, working knowledge of departmental and hospital policy, and rapport with nurse anesthesia (CRNA) staff, medical staff, anesthesia technicians and ancillary departments.
Performs other duties as assigned by Manager and/or Director.


Work Schedule: 1.0 FTE Monday - Friday, leadership position Required Qualifications: Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination: Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or related field Completion of Nurse Anesthesia Program Master's degree in Anesthesia or related field Five years' experience as a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Licensure/ Registration/ Certification: APRN currently licensed in the state of Minnesota. CRNA currently certified by the NBCRNA. Privileged as a CRNA by the PNHS Credential Committee ACLS certified. BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Epic, PICIS, Outlook Computer, fax, printer, coy machine, telephone, and other office machines Software: EMR, intra and internet related to the Department of Surgical Services Anesthesia and patient care equipment: gas machine, monitors, airway instruments and scopes, IV pumps, body and fluid warming devices, suction machines, needles & syringes, IV and invasive lines, Point of Care lab measuring devices Preferred Qualifications: Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination: Supervisory/Management/Leadership experience preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients. Excellent communication skills Advanced problem-solving skills Knowledge of principles of management and the change process Ability to assess caregiver competence in the clinical setting Benefits:
