What You Will Do: Develop revolutionary radar technology that delights our customers;Perform antenna design, microwave circuit design and measurement, link analysis, analog circuit design, and RF signal processing;Integrate custom and off-the-shelf hardware components for testing and deployment;Create alignment across algorithms, software, and hardware in our radar products;Contribute to the direction of a talented small team with your expertise and ideas;Engage with customers, to ensure successful outcomes for their mission-critical needs;Help your colleagues and customers understand what you're doing and why.Recommended Background and Experience: An Antenna/RF Engineer at Numerica should possess an advanced degree (M.S. or higher, ideally) in Electrical Engineering or a related field.An Antenna/RF Engineer should have a record of academic excellence and demonstrated experience in most of the following areas: Antenna design and analysis: Antenna layout and tuning; feed design; impedance matching; computational analysis in HFSS, COMSOL, CST Momentum, or similar CEM package;RF design and analysis: Microstrip circuit design; RF layout and simulation via ADS, Microwave Office, or similar RF layout and analysis tool; phased array design experience is a major plus;Antenna and RF testing: Network analyzer S-parameter characterization; antenna pattern measurement.An Antenna/RF Engineer at Numerica ideally will have conducted radar/RF system research and development, either in graduate school or industry.An Antenna/RF Engineer should have effective written and verbal communication skills, with the demonstrated ability to convey salient details about advanced technology in a compelling manner to both experts and non-experts alike.Salary range: $80,900-$164,300 estimated annual base salary plus incentives
