Company : enGen Job Description : JOB SUMMARY CANDIDATE MUST BE US Citizen (due to contractual/access requirements) We are seeking a talented and experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to join our growing team.
As a Mid-Level Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex marketing automation solutions within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.
You will work closely with marketing stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions that drive engagement and achieve business objectives.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for analyzing, designing, coding, testing and implementing application enhancements, as well as providing general production support, meeting defined scope, target dates and budgets with minimal or no defects.
Utilizes and participates in the full system development life cycle, per current Highmark SDLC standards.
Collaborates with customers, business analysts, partners, and IT team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.
Concentrates on providing innovative solutions to business needs.
Provides required technical support, including release implementations, on-call and 24x7 supports when necessary.
Performs work in compliance with all Highmark and Highmark IT standards, policies and procedures.
Actively participates on project teams in various project roles, including, but not limited to, Developer, Technical Lead and Project Manager, based upon level of experience.
Effectively communicates with team members, customers, partners and management, including assisting with or conducting technical walkthroughs, reporting project status, enabling vendor solutions and providing accurate and concise documentation.

EDUCATION Required Bachelors degree in Information Technology or closely related field Substitutions none Preferred None EXPERIENCE Required 3 years of experience as a developer Experience with Project Management tools Experience with databases Experience with multiple coding languages Preferred Design, develop, and implement custom marketing automation solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools, including: Email Studio Journey Builder Automation Studio Mobile Studio Social Studio Data Extensions SQL Queries AMPscript API Integrations Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Develop and maintain documentation for all code and configurations.
Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance of all developed solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementations.
Stay up-to-date on the latest Salesforce Marketing Cloud features and best practices.
Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal Salesforce Marketing Cloud standards and best practices.
Assist with the training and onboarding of junior developers.
Strong command of SQL, AMPscript, SSJS, HTML, CSS, and API integration concepts (REST/SOAP) for optimizing data segmentation, audience targeting, and content personalization.
Set up, configure, and integrate Salesforce Marketing Cloud with core Salesforce and third-party systems using Marketing Cloud Connect and REST/SOAP APIs.
Develop, test, and validate responsive email templates, content blocks, cloud pages, and data-driven marketing automation journeys using AMPscript, SSJS, and HTML/CSS.
3 years of experience developing and implementing solutions within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.
Strong understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud architecture, features, and functionalities.
Proven experience with AMPscript, SQL, and other relevant programming languages.
Experience with API integrations and data management within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Passion for marketing technology and a desire to stay up-to-date with industry trends.

Pay Range Minimum: $57,700.00 Pay Range Maximum: $106,700.00 Base pay is determined by a variety of factors including a candidates qualifications, experience, and expected contributions, as well as internal peer equity, market, and business considerations.
