A recognized services company in Buffalo, NY is currently seeking a new Application/Sales Engineer. In this role, the Applications Engineer will be responsible for giving product sales support and communicating technical requirements. This is an onsite opportunity. Responsibilities: The Application / Sales Engineer will be responsible for: Development and delivery of product demonstrations Representing the product to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, tradeshows, etc. Responding to functional and technical elements of RFQs/RFPs/ITTs Attracting potential customers by answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other products and services Recommending potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs Qualifications: 3+ years of relevant experience in Product Applications and Project Management Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field Desired Skills: Excellent Communication skills (written and oral), as well as carry out responsibilities with minimal direction Must be comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a geographically dispersed domestic and international customer base Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, and RFQs/RFPs Organizational and analytical skills required, with the ability to eliminate obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches Desired Skills and Experience The Applications Engineer is required to give product sales support and communicate technical requirements.
