A qualified applicant will be required to participate in the formulation of analytical and machine learning solutions to complex data problems by creating physics-based and Machine Learning based models for novel compressive sensing and computational imaging problems. The applicant will work with a cross-disciplinary team to perform activities associated with the design, development, and implementation of software for diverse scientific and engineering applications.
Master's degree in Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or similar field 2+ years experience with compressive sensing and/or computational imaging techniques. 1 + year experience with machine learning techniques (Neural Networks and/or linear algebra-based methods) Mathematical Applications and Optimization to Physics Problems Data Analytics Strong statistics background Programming skills at least one of the following: Python, C, C++, R, Julia, and Rust Preferred Education and Experience: Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or similar field
