The Archives Specialist will engage external customers and manage associated processes to ensure proper transfer of REGN owned records and information. Monitors Business Continuity Plan to ensure periodic testing, evaluation and modification based on results and changing practices and processes. May be asked to serve as Deputy Archivist. Supports Archivist with ensuring that all records are stored, retrieved, and maintained in compliance with GLP requirements. Conducts legal requested research necessary to determine retention values and evaluates and recommends designations of records that are considered vital to the organization. Supports inspection readiness activities ensuring customers' records are in compliance and readily available.
A typical day may include the following:Maintains physical and electronic Regeneron record inventory and location across all products.Supports the entry of the information inventory into the IM system to ensure accuracy and compliance with retention and disposition guidelines.Interacts with Security, Privacy, and Legal to ensure Records Management processes and systems align with policies owned by these areas. Aids implementation of procedures to meet the policy requirements.Assists with the development of archival process improvements and maintenance of an efficient record-keeping practice to ensure preservation and retrieval.Collaborates with IT to incorporate recordkeeping requirements into systems design or upgrade.This role may be for you if:You can demonstrate organizational skills and have high attention to detail.You can work independently with moderate supervision.You are an effective collaborator and teammate.You can meet deliverables under time restraints.You have knowledge of document databases and other electronic document management tools.To be considered, we are looking for two years of professional experience along with a bachelor's degree.
