Responsibilities: The core of this role is to work closely with Design and cross functional teams to develop and drive a compelling and innovative vision of the brand You must be direct response driven and an expert storyteller, while inspiring and developing work that is conceptually rich and unique You will be able to conceptualize everything the brand stands for and translate it into advertising campaigns, customer experience, photoshoot production, social media strategy, brand collaborations and beautiful shows You are someone who can tap into the cultural zeitgeist and establish that brand vision and it will translate globally You must inspire the creative team and offer excellent leadership You have an innate understanding of marketing and hype You will manage a team of creatives setting clear roles, responsibilities, and expectations of all projects to be sure the output is brand appropriate and completed on time with the highest standard possible Drive seasonal look and feel of all creative elements for Cult Gaia, driving creative alignment across all platforms (online, social media, customer communications, catalog, in-store, packaging) Follow market visual trends and apply a keen understanding of the fashion marketplace to make decisions that will maximize the effectiveness of creative Work within project timelines and work effectively within budgets and objectives Be a fashion and creative expert, bringing a keen understanding of the fashion marketplace, and providing a creative framework that keeps Cult Gaia on the leading edge Embrace performance data, and develop future creative strategy based on these insights. Key Task: Art Direction and Strategy Brand development and Strategy Brand Packaging Photoshoot production Budget Management Content Management Messaging and aesthetics for all channels Brand book Partner with social media and PR to deliver brand messaging Image Management, own company images for email, collateral, print ads, social media ads, Company Website and any other platform requiring brand images. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or design-related equivalent. 5+ years' experience in design - specific to apparel/women's fashion industry. 8 + years' management experience Strong In Design, Illustrator & Photoshop skills (MAC platform). Proven depth of experience in design represented by a portfolio of work. Experience is photoshoot production. Deep connection to fashion culture and trend. Experience in branding & marketing Skills Required: Excellent verbal and written communication. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and multi-tasking skills. Strong client-support orientation, and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization. Ability to work independently and navigate complex and uncertain environments Strong ability to handle fast paced environments with multiple projects at once. Solid time-management skills. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Must be a motivated self-starter, and able to work effectively with limited supervision. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required. Dependable, great attitude, highly motivated and a team player. Possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines. Ability to communicate effectively across various departments. Ability to work in a changing environment.
