The IT Digital Customer Experience (DCE) team, based in Pendleton, South Carolina (AMISC), manages custom development applications to support the site's operations. We are seeking a Co-op student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree to join our IT DCE team. In this role, you will enhance your analytical, communication, and project management skills through hands-on experience, collaborating closely with IT professionals. You will participate in project tracking, develop documentation, and apply Agile methodologies to ensure precise execution and reporting of tasks. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, results-driven, and able to communicate challenges clearly and effectively.
This internship will run from May 2025 – August 2025. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work 40 hours per week at our Pendleton, SC facility. Main Objective: To contribute to the success of the Digital Customer Experience team, while gaining experience with IT project management, analytics and communication.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate with IT professionals to support the development and maintenance of custom applications. Apply Agile methodologies to manage project execution and reporting. Participate in project tracking and follow-up to ensure timely progress. Assist in various tasks related to IT systems, ensuring compliance with project requirements and goals. Develop and maintain clear documentation for ongoing projects. Communicate issues, challenges, and project updates in a timely and accurate manner. Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience: Enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a bachelor's degree or recent graduate required. Junior or above, studying Information Systems, Computer Science or Mathematics preferred.
(Students who have recently graduated are only eligible to work as an intern/co-op up to six months from their graduation date.) Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training: Basic to intermediate computer skills. Be able to follow written and verbal direction. Ability to work in a team collaborative environment. Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills: PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel. Fax; Scanner.
