Assistant Volleyball Coach The Assistant Volleyball coach assists the Head Volleyball Coach with the coordination and preparation of the university's volleyball team, participating in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference as an NCAA Division II institution.
A key responsibility is the enthusiastic implementation of and personal investment in the University's 'Greatness through Virtue' whole-person development model. Candidates will be invited to demonstrate a willingness to support the Christian, Catholic, Benedictine mission of the University of Mary. Essential Roles and Responsibilities Include: Coordinates recruitment, setting up visits and follow-up meetings with potential studentsAssists with monitoring the academic progress of student athletesScouts opponentsAssists with film breakdownAssists with planning practices and preparing for matchesAssists with managing the program budgetAssists with organizing volleyball camps and clinicsAssists with all compliance forms and record keepingAttends community service events for both the volleyball program and the athletic departmentAssists with game management of other varsity sports as neededPerforms other duties as assigned.Desired Minimum Qualifications, Education, and Experience include: Bachelor's degree requiredWorking knowledge of NCAA rules, standards, practices, and proceduresPossess strong interpersonal skills and communication skills and provide positive leadership in all aspects of the University of Mary volleyball program.
