RESPONSIBILITIES: The Assistant Dean of CMA works in conjunction with the Commandant of Cadets and Military staff to oversee the CMA program, which consists of roughly 500 Cadets living in nine units. This includes planning and implementing professional development for CMA Counselors and CMA Resident Directors; managing the discipline system and investigating disciplinary matters; advising the Commandant on all matters related to CMA and student development and serving as administrator on-call during assigned evenings and weekends. The Assistant Dean routinely meets with the Commandant of Cadets, CMA Counselors, CMA Resident Directors, and student leaders in order to keep the lines of communication open regarding student and staff initiatives. The Assistant Dean of CMA reports to the Commandant of Cadets and works in partnership with the Dean of Culver Girls Academy and the Assistant Dean of Culver Girls Academy on issues pertinent to both CMA and CGA students.
REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a bachelor's degree; a master's degree is preferred, and seven years of experience in positions requiring exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Military experience is preferable but not required.
