Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Club in Bradenton, Florida is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.
Position Overview:
Duties:
•Assists the Director of Golf in managing the daily golf operations, tournament operations and tee sheet management. All responsibilities will be executed with a focus on providing an exceptional golf experience to our guests.
•Additional Specific Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
•Working with golf staff to ensure the daily operation is running smoothly.
•Regularly monitor golf course activity and staff performance throughout the day
•Answering telephones, booking tee times, checking-in guests upon arrival.
•Assisting guests with all retail needs.
•Assist in tournament operations as well as set up in Golf Genius.
•Work effectively with fellow golf & nongolf departments at IMG Academy and Legacy Hotel to ensure guest satisfaction.
•Continue to improve personal professional skills with a desire to advance as a Golf Professional.
Requirements:
Class A PGA Membership, or PGA Associate actively working towards Class A PGA Membership.
Positive attitude, strong organizational and communication skills.
Desire to learn and continue to develop career as a Golf Professional.
Passion for working in a team-oriented environment where providing exceptional customer service is paramount.
Working knowledge of Jonas and Golf Genius.
Work effectively with fellow golf & nongolf departments at IMG Academy and Legacy Hotel to ensure guest satisfaction.
Continue to improve personal professional skills with a desire to advance as a Golf Professional.
