Job Overview: The Associate Account Executive will build core skills in sales and work for a mission-driven association that impacts leading organizations across the globe.
You will be responsible for selling public education courses, small group memberships, and conference registrations.
In addition, you will work closely with an Account Executive to help form strategies for sales success including developing leads for senior account executives, sales pipeline management, account management, and outbound sales outreach via phone and email.
Responsibilities of the Associate Account Executive: Working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment requiring excellent verbal and written communication, account management, and maintaining a high level of organization within Salesforce.Learning how to ask the right consultative questions to identify the best training courses, memberships, or conference registrations for individuals and small teams in the talent development field.Collaborating with senior sales executives to understand a proven sales process including prospect development and managing existing accounts with a high level of customer service.Acquiring knowledge and proficiency to effectively present the value of ATD's solutions to both existing members and new clients. Requirements of the Associate Account Executive: 2 – 3 years of experience in education sales or a background as a corporate trainerHighly effective verbal and written communication skills, including a strong phone presenceStrong multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detailPositive attitude, willingness to support team members, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer serviceSalesforce CRM experience is preferredFast learner with the ability to build and maintain sales pipelines to achieve course enrollment goalsWorks well within a highly motivated, client-focused team environmentBachelor's degree preferred (all majors welcome) or relevant work experience
