Associate Attorney - Fort Lauderdale

Job Summary: We are seeking one to two associates to join our New York City and/or Florida office (hybrid – either location). The ideal candidate must be organized and able to handle a high-volume case load, able to develop appropriate defense strategies, receptive to feedback and taking direction but also self-motivated to meet goals in a timely manner. Duties include, but are not limited to, preparing files for defense from inception to resolution, extensive reporting and communication with clients and insurers, conducting depositions, preparing and arguing motions, and trial preparation. Practice areas include, but are not limited to, product liability, toxic tort, commercial litigation, property and casualty, construction, and general liability. Requirements: Admission to the Florida State Bar is a must. Ideal candidate would also have New York State Bar. Admission to the New Jersey, Missouri, Illinois, and/or Pennsylvania State Bar is a plus. 1 to 6 years of experience, preferably in defense litigation. Excellent academic credentials. A self-starter with superior research and analytical skills. Superb writing and verbal communication skills. Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills.
