Responsibilities
•Manage the entire estate administration process from inception to closure
•Work with paralegal and staff to file probate documents, petitions, and related court forms
•Coordinate communication with courts, clients, beneficiaries, and other relevant parties
•Conduct legal research on probate laws, regulations, and case precedents
•Analyze complex legal issues related to estate administration and provide strategic recommendations
•Review legal documents, including wills, trusts, and other estate planning instruments
•Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on the status of estate administration
•Address client inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy
•Oversee the management of estate assets, including financial accounts, real estate, and personal property
•Work closely with financial institutions, appraisers, and other professionals involved in the estate settlement process
•Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws governing estate administration
•Attend court hearings or other legal proceedings, perform legal research, and work with senior associate attorneys to provide legal advice
•Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of action
•Organize and maintain files to ensure accuracy for other attorneys, paralegals, and staff
•Collaborate with clients and senior associates and other staff to move cases toward resolution efficiently
•Create legal documents, including correspondence, briefs, motions, pleadings, contracts, affidavits, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings

•Ability to work with senior attorneys to best serve client needs and grow our client base
•Successful completion of the bar exam
•Has a Juris Doctor (J.D.
degree) from an accredited law school
•Active membership with the American Bar Association (ABA)
